Have you run your mile today?

A major snow storm in my area has pretty much shut everything down. The kids enjoyed their first-ever snow day. Me? Not so much. I’m a warm-weather fitness kind of gal.


And for a runner, a snow day means time on the treadmill.

So today I’m spicing up that go-nowhere routine with this interval run:

Then we’re off to a cheerleading competition for the rest of the day (more on that in another post).

Are you still keeping a food journal? If you are, good for you. I know you’re having some eye-opening moments as you become aware of what and when you feed yourself.

If you haven’t been journalling, it’s never too late to start. Just do it today; keep track of your food intake for one day. You will learn so much about your relationship with food. I promise, it will be worth it.

    Thanks for posting this! I dread the treadmill and am always looking for ways to spice up the run on it. I’m going to try this interval training next week at the gym!
