imageI promise the recipe tastes a whole lot better than it looks! This is a must try!

Dark Chocolate and Spinach Smoothie

Combine in blender and  blend until smooth:

  • 1 C milk (I use Almond Breeze Almond Coconut milk)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 fistfuls of spinach (and/or baby kale)
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened dark cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp (more or less to taste–I used more. Shhh, don’t tell) Truvia stevia sweetener
  • 12 ice cubes

This recipe serves two and tastes absolutely delicious! It’s just what my body was craving after this morning’s quick but powerful workout.
